What kind of sunblock would work the best?

I am light-skinned (asian) and would like to know which sunblock would work best on me? I want to know the SPF. I have a banana boat sunblock with spf 15,,,but I don't know if that's good enough. I'm trying to prevent myself from skin aging/skin cancer, getting sunburn or have my moles darken.

I was told that anything between 70 and 15 is good. My derm told me to use neutrogena spf 45 on my face. I use it every day, becuase who wants wrinkles?! On my body I use spf 30. Basically speaking the higher the better. I do not think there is a big difference between 40 and up, due to the amount of sun a normal person gets in a day. Good for you to use SPF, you are a very smart woman!

well, as long as you get a long-lasting (that means about 3 hours) waterproof sunblock you should be fine. However, I am pale so I use about SPF 40 and still get a tad burnt. If you are light tan, you might want spf 30, and if you are dark tan you should get spf 15 or 20, your choice depending on if you want to tan or not

there are some really easy to apply brands out there now. i think the spf ultimately will depend upon how long you plan to stay out in the sun, and also keep your ears open to the radio – they usually tell you the readings (how many minutes in the sun today before you burn). i'd get a spray, so that you can be sure you can reach all the difficult spots.
